Ms. Lydia Echauz, 72, is one of Metro Pacific Investments Corporation’s Independent Directors.

She also serves as a Director for the following companies under the MVP Group: Global Business Power Corporation, PLDT Beneficial Trust Fund, and Philstar Group.

She is a Director in the following private companies as well: FERN Realty Corporation, Riverside College, Inc., NBS College, Inc., Henry Sy Foundation, Inc., Felicidad Sy Foundation, Inc., SM Foundation, Inc., DNL Industries, Inc., and Pilipinas Shell Petroleum Corp. She is also a Trustee of Akademyang Fillipino Asso. Inc. and Museo de Galeon Foundaion, Inc.

She was President of the Far Eastern University and of its three affiliate schools for 10 years, and a Trustee at the Immaculate Conception Academy. She was also a Director at Manila Tytana College, MCO Foundation, Inc., and Laudibus, Inc. She also served as a director for Development Bank of the Philippines (DBP), DBP Brokerage Insurance, Inc, and DBP Data Center, Inc.

Ms. Echauz earned her Doctor of Business Administration from De La Salle University where she graduated with distinction.
